DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 01: Arrival Leh Airport & Acclimatization
You will be arriving Leh Airport for your Ladakh tour. You will be picked up by our representative and transfer to the hotel with a traditional welcome. Post check-in we recommend you to take completely rest for that day to enable yourselves to acclimatized to the rarefied air at the high altitude. Dinner and overnight at Leh in hotel.

DAY 2 – Leh local sightseeing
Morning after breakfast proceed towards Leh local sightseeing. First we go to Thiksey Monastery. After spending some memorable moment further proceed towards Hemis Monastery, then 3-Idiot School, Shey Palace, Sindhu Ghat. Complete your lunch on the way further visit Shanti Stupa & Leh Palace. Late afternoon back to hotel. Evening enjoy in the local market. Dinner and overnight at Leh in hotel.

Major Sightseeing – Thiksey Monastery, Hemis Monastery, 3-Idiot School, Shey Palace, Sindhu Ghat, Shanti Stupa & Leh Palace.

DAY 3 – Sham Valley Excursion
Morning after breakfast proceed towards Sham Valley and explore the beauty of Monastries, River and the Nature. First we go to Gurudwara Patthar Sahib. After spending some memorable moment further proceed towards Magnetic Hill, then Zanskar & Indur River Confluence, Basgo, Likir & Alchi. Complete your lunch on the way and back to Leh in the late afternoon. Evening enjoy in the local market. Dinner and overnight at Leh in hotel.

Major Sightseeing – Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Zanskar & Indur River Confluence, Basgo Palace, Likir Monastery & Alchi Monastery.

DAY 4 – Transfer from Leh to Nubra Valley
Morning after breakfast proceed towards Nubra Valley. On the way take a 15 min break at The World Highest Motorable Road Khardung La Pass. Post enjoyment proceed towards Khardung Village and complete your lunch there. Further proceed towards Nubra Valley take a break at Diskit and enjoy the beauty of Diskit Monastery & symbol of peace Maitrayee Buddha. After spending some memorable moment take a camel ride (by own) at Hundur
Sand Dunes. After spending some memorable moment transfer to the camp / hotel in the late afternoon with a traditional welcome. Dinner and overnight at Nubra Valley in Camp / hotel.
Meal – Breakfast & Dinner only
Major Sightseeing – Khardung La, Diskit Monastery, Maitrayee Buddha & Sand Dunes.
Accommodation – Camp / Hotel
DAY 5 – Transfer from Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso via Shyak Village
Early morning after breakfast proceed towards Pangong Lake. Before leaving Nubra Valley dont forget to take ATV ride at Sand dunes. After that proceed towards Pangong Lake. On the way cross Shyak Nala. Complete your lunch at Durbuk. After spending some memorable moment transfer to the camp in the afternoon with a traditional welcome. Enjoy the sunset from the lake side camp. Dinner and overnight at Pangong Lake side Camp.

Major Sightseeing – Shyak Nala & Pangong Lake.

DAY 6 – Transfer from Pangong to Leh via Changla Pass
Early monring enjoy the beautiful and memorable sunrise at Pangong Lake. After breakfast drive from Pangong to Leh back with another most beautiful route. En-route visit Changla Pass (another pass place its name in the list of World Highest Motorable Road). Evening self activity and explore Leh market to complete your last day shopping. Dinner and overnight at Leh in hotel.

• The above package can be customized as per the customer’s Requirement if customer will go for a customized packages.
• Check In & Check out Time is 12:00 noon as per Hotel / Camp / Guest Hose Policies (early check in is subject to availability).
• Meals Timings must be followed as per the instructed time of the Hotel / Camp / Guest Hose. For any un-availed meals we shall not be responsible.
• Please note that all the meals provided during Nubra Valley & Pangong may be vegetarian meals, irrespective of the meal preference provided.
• In few tourist destinations, the facilities of Hotel / Camp / Guest Hose, Services, and Aids etc. can’t be matched to developed destinations. Hotel / Camp / Guest Hose are categorized on the basis of location, Services and costing and not as per Star Categorization i.e.; 1*, 2*, 3* and so on.
• We may have to re-schedule the sightseeing days due to closing of any monument during that particular day as to ensure smooth execution of tours.
• Extra cost may be applied for any unexpected event.
• Final confirmation acceptance should be only written basis & No discount will be provided after the issuance of confirmation letter .
• we are not responsible for missing luggage. Guests are requested to check vehicles / rooms before they release/ depart.
• We are not liable for any accidental insurance or claiming or settlement for guests for travelling on the above mentioned route.
• We are not liable for any health problem of each guest. We will guide or help to admit hospital and inform guest relative’s (if contact detail is available with us) and guest relative will take care with direct payment basis. This route will cover very remote areas so guest should be aware of that before booking.
• All the travelers are requested to carry a copy of the medical certificate with them.
• We are not liable for any health problem or accidental issue or death issue of any guest. We will guide or help to arrange first aid only and inform guest relative’s (if contact detail is available with us) and guest relative will take care with direct payment basis. This route will cover very remote areas so guest should be aware of that before booking.
• We shall not be responsible for any cancellation of cabs or due to Bad weather, Snow Fall, Strike, Landslide, Army Movement, Terrorism or any other reason not mentioned early, we are not liable for it. Hotel / Camp / Guest Hose can be changed in any emergency situation for your convenience, no refund in any case and extra charge on direct payment basis if applied.
• Participants are requested to follow the timing in the program, in case any service is missed due to delay in departure, we will not be responsible for any settlement.
• In any event of flight cancellation or rescheduling, we will not be responsible for any claims of refund or settlement for the same.
• Tourism on the entire Ladakh Circuit from Leh to Nubra to Pangong to Leh is completely dependent on Inner Line Permits issued by Ladakh Police and Indian Armed Forces. Discretion of issuing permits solely depend on these authorities. We can’t guarantee the trip if permission is not granted due to military operations, snowfall, natural calamities, close day, terrorism, any other emergency situation or insufficient documentation by guests.
• Each guest must carry personal Medicines.
• In case of extension of stay / tour is required, then the guest can directly contact with Himalayan Destination.
• All transportation will be shared with point to point basis unless a private vehicle is specifically chosen at the time of booking.
• Pickup from Leh Airport to Leh hotel on Day – 1 at 10:30 hrs. (10:30 am IST). Before or after pickup will be charged separately.
• Any case extra transport shall have to be arranged by the customers on their own, on direct payment basis.
• In case Pangong night stay is not possible due to operational reasons or any other reason, then additional night stay at Leh will be provided and and Full day excursion to Pangong from Leh will be arranged. But in this circumstances additional 3000/- per head will be charged on spot.
• Seating arrangement must change on regularly by self interest to avoid any unwanted issues. Travel gentle & enjoy the nature.
• Room heaters if required can be provided on chargeable basis, subject to availability and completely depend on hotel / camp policy.
• Due to shortage of power hot water will only provided for 2 hours during the morning and evening in Leh. In camps, hot water is only available for a limited time in the morning with on demand and availability basis.
• If any solo traveler join in this group he / she has to share room with other co-traveler.
• In what so ever any reason we have the full right to reschedule the tour, change date without any prior notice.
• We have to full right to change itinerary for smooth operation.
• Alcohol & Tobacco consumption or carrying is strictly prohibited in entire journey, consumption or carrying at your own risk.
• Respect the local people & there culture. Clean environment may expected from you & your group.

GUEST HEALTH AND FITNESS REQUIREMENTS:

To ensure that all participants get the most out of the leh ladakh tour, it is important that you are fully aware of the level of activity, fitness and medical health required to successfully complete this itinerary. Please read this dossier carefully prior to confirming your place on the tour and, having established the facts, it is your responsibility to contact us with any concerns regarding individual levels of fitness, health, or ability. If you would like to discuss any of these issues further please contact us.

NOTE: Acute mountain sickness can occur to any one at an altitude above 10,000 ft. from the sea level. The most common symptoms of acute mountain sickness are headache disturb sleep loss of appetite, nausea, coughing, irregular breathing, breathlessness, lassitude and lack of concentration. Since Leh Town is situated at an altitude of 11,500 ft. above sea level. It is advisable to take the following precautions, so as to acclimatize your body properly.

• Take complete rest for the first 36 hours of your arrival at Leh. However, this period may vary with different people.
• Your body should get used to the lower oxygen levels.
• In case you develop any of the above-mentioned symptoms, please consult a Doctor.
• Rescue and precaution for mountaineering and trekking in Ladakh.
• Tourist undertaking mountaineering and trekking in Ladakh, whether in groups or individual, should take some precautions. There is no private aerial rescue agency in Ladakh and only as a life saving measure; engaging the Indian Air Force help in evacuation.

THINGS TO REMEMBER:

DO’s in leh ladakh tour

• Always carry drinking water and dry food.
• Take Disprin with you if you want to go to Khardung La, as it is very high altitude of 5359m.
• If you are not able to go further from a particular spot in day, do not move stay there, as road condition is very bad in some places and it would be very difficult to travel in night.
• Temperature in Ladakh is too low and if you will throw any biodegradable item, it will remain in the same state for very long time, especially in snow, people defecate and the shit remains in the same form for years, so please try the Ladakhi winter toilets.
• Use vehicles, which have good-ground clearance and are in good condition. SUVs like Tata Sumo Grande, Toyota Qualis and Highlander, Mitsubishi Pajero work best over there.
• Make a first-aid box and carry proper medicines for headache, fever, and vomiting also in it.
• There is electricity problem in Leh, so it is better to take extra batteries for digital products like camera, mobiles phones, etc. Charge them fully before leaving for the tour. You may not get electricity at some remote places and also because of the cold, the battery gets discharged soon.
• People there are very friendly and hospitable. Respect them.

DON’T’s

• If you reach Leh by air, stay that day and do not plan to go anywhere for that day, as you will need a day or two to acclimatize yourself. Drink plenty of fluids with ORS mixture (that does not include alcohol), do not move much for the first two to three days.
• Don’t use Polythene bags. Ladakh is a “no polythene” zone. Kindly respect this and please carry back all the plastic you take with you.
• Refill your water bottles instead of buying new ones. Mountain water is good. If you have doubt, boil it and refill.
• Wear nice clothes covering your body while on roads, especially while visiting a Buddhist Gompas.

CLIMATE

Ladakh lies on the rain shadow side of the Himalayan. Where dry monsoon winds reaches Leh after being robbed of its moisture in plains and the Himalayan Mountain. The district combines the condition of both arctic and desert climate. Therefore Ladakh is often called “COLD DESERT” The main features of this COLD DESERT are:

• Wide diurnal and seasonal fluctuations in temperature with -40°C in Winter and + 35°C in Summer.
• Precipitation is very low with annual precipitation of 10cm mainly inform of snow.
• Air is very dry and relative humidity range from 6-24%

WHAT TO PACK

You will encounter a range of temperatures so taking layers allows you to minimize your luggage but cover up if the temperature drops. Women may prefer to cover their shoulders and knees to avoid unwanted attention, and both men and women will need to cover their legs while in temples and monasteries.

CHILD POLICY:

• Child age below 5 years is complementary. No extra seat will provide at car, no additional meal will provide other than parent’s plate and no additional bed will provide & adjust with parents bed.
• Child age between 5 to 8 years will charge 50% of adult cost. Provide seat at car, additional meal will provide but no additional bed will provide & adjust with parents bed.
• Child age above 8 years considered as adult.

Please remember in spite of the above policy, if any parents want to additional seat at car or additional bed or claim meal for child then the child will be considered as adult even age will below 5 years.

PAYMENT POLICY:

• Initial booking has been accepted with token advance of 10% of the total tour cost.
• Complete 30% payment on or before 15/12/2020.
• Pay another 20% on or before 15/02/2002.
• Remaining 50% on arrival at Leh Airport by cash only.

You can pay full amount before journey started to avoid spot payment. We accept installment payment options also.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION POLICY:

• The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email / WhatsApp within 3 business day of successful booking.
• Alternatively, the customer may cancel their booking before confirmation voucher generated and a full refund will be processed within 7 business day from the cancellation date.
• All cancellation must be communicated through email or whatsapp only.
• Final Booking confirmation voucher shall be generated after completion of payment 30% of the total tour cost.

5% additional charged will be applicable on failure of payment within specified date.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

• If cancellations are made on or before 60 days from the journey start date, 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made in between 30 to 59 days from the journey start date, 35% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made in between 15 to 29 days from the journey start date, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made on or before 14 days from the journey start date, 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, customer personal issue or complete trip / certain trips or activities may get cancelled or affected, in such cases we will try our best to provide an alternate feasible. However cash refund will not be applicable for the same. All alteration will be fully depends on hotel / camp / transporter policy.

REFUND POLICY:

• The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days from the tour completion.
• Final refund amount will be calculated after all deduction of applicable charges.
