DAY 01: Board at Train in Howrah
You have to report at Howrah Railway Station within 10:00 pm for your Kashmir tour. Our representative greet you and assist you to board in train. Train schedule time from Howrah Railway Station at 11:55 pm. Overnight in train and start dreaming for your memorable vacation day.

DAY 03 – Jammu Arrival & Katra Transfer
Afternoon reach at Jammu Railway Station. You will be greet and received by our representative and transfer to Katra. Post check-in take rest and evening you may visit the local market nearby the hotel only. Dinner and overnight at Katra in hotel.

Major Sightseeing – Katra Market & Vaishno Devi Darshan (optional).

DAY 04 – In Katra & Vaishno Devi Darshan
Early morning proceed for Vaishno Devi Darshan (by own). By evening back to hotel. Dinner and overnight at Katra in hotel.

DAY 5 – Transfer from Katra to Srinagar

DAY 6 – Gulmarg Excursion
Post breakfast proceed from Srinagar to Gulmarg “Meadow of Flowers” Discovered by the Kashmiri romantic poet in the 16th century who was inspired with its grassy slopes covered with wild flowers. In winter Gulmarg looks more beautiful due to heavy snow fall. And turns into India’s premier Ski resort in winter. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and highest golf course with 18 holes,in Gulmarg you also can enjoy Gondola Cable Car (On Your Own Expenses) offers rides to the upland meadows of Kongdori and beyond to the top of Apharwat range to a height of 14000 ft for viewing the Himalayan Peaks in summer and for downhill skiing in winter.  You may visit Khilanmarg (by your own expenses by Gandola). Khilanmarg is situated above second phase of Gandola. Post enjoyment the speechless beauty of Gulmarg return back to Srinagar in the evening. Dinner and overnight at srinagar hotel.

DAY 7 – Sonamarg Excursion
After breakfast proceed from Srinagar to Sonamarg for a Day trip. The name Sonamarg is derived from two Kashmiri words “Son” & “Marg” which mean “Gold” & “Meadow”, when put together it means “Meadow of Gold” The drive from Srinagar to Sonamarg is very beautiful as you will pass through some towns and villages, at many places you can enjoy the view of paddy fields with rivers flowing on one side. In Sonamarg you can visit Thajwas Glacier which is around 4Kms from Sonamarg a Local Taxi Or Pony Ride has to be hired (on your own Expenses). Post enjoyment return back to Srinagar in the evening. Dinner and overnight at srinagar hotel.

DAY 8 – Srinagar Local Sightseeing
After breakfast transfer to srinagar hotel to  Houseboat for check-in, after refresh proceed to Local Sightseeing. Cover Mughal Gardens:- Visit Shankarachariya Temple (is also known as the Jyesteshwara temple It is on top of the Shankaracharya Hill on the Zabarwan Mountain It is dedicated to Lord Shiva The temple is at a height of 1,000 feet above the plain and overlooks the city of Srinagar) then visit Pari Mahal ‘Palace of Fairies’ (is a seven terraced garden located at the top of Zabarwan mountain range over-looking city of Srinagar and south-west of Dal Lake) Then visit to Chesham Shahi (is one of the Mughal gardens built in 1632 AD around a spring by Ali Mardan Khan, a governor of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan as per the orders of the Emperor, as a gift for his elder son Prince Dara Shikoh) you will also visit Nishat Garden known as ‘Garden of pleasure’ built in 16th century (1633) by Mughal King Asif Khan. Then visit Shalimar Garden known as ‘Garden of love’ built in 16th century (1619) by Mughal King Jehangir for his beloved wife Noor Jehan or (Mehr-un-Nissa). Evening back to houseboat and enjoy Shikara Ride on world famous Dal Lake in which you will cover, Floating Gardens, Vegetable Gardens, Golden Lake, Inner markets like Mena Bazar, and Canals etc, also enjoy the scenic view of Zabarwan Mountains. Evening free for leisure. Dinner and overnight at Srinagar houseboat.
Visit Srinagal local market for Complementary Barbecue service.

Morning post breakfast proceed towards Pahelgam. On the way enjoy Safron Field, Avantipora Ruins, Bat Factory & Apple Garden. Arrive at Pahelgam in the early afternoon. Post check-in proceed for optional sightseeing of Aru Valley, Betab Valley & Chandanwadi by hire a local cab from Local Taxi Union and post enjoyment you can go for Baisaran by hire a pony. After covering all the above places back to hotel. Evening free to explore the nearby local market by own. Dinner and overnight at Pahelgam hotel.

Post breakfast checkout from hotel and proceed to Jammu. Enjoy on the way natural beauty. Late evening reach Jammu Railway Station. Board in train on 10:45 pm. Overnight in Train with recalling all memories.

• In few tourist destinations, the facilities of Hotel / Houseboat, Services, and Aids etc. can’t be matched to developed destinations. Hotel / Houseboat are categorized on the basis of location, Services and costing and not as per Star Categorization i.e.; 1*, 2*, 3* and so on.
• We may have to re-schedule the sightseeing days due to closing of any monument during that particular day as to ensure smooth execution of tours.
• Extra cost may be applied for any unexpected event.
• Final confirmation acceptance should be only written basis & No discount will be provided after the issuance of confirmation letter .
• we are not responsible for missing luggage. Guests are requested to check vehicles / rooms before they release/ depart.
• We are not liable for any accidental insurance or claiming or settlement for guests for travelling on the above mentioned route.
• We are not liable for any health problem of each guest. We will guide or help to admit hospital and inform guest relative’s (if contact detail is available with us) and guest relative will take care with direct payment basis. This route will cover very remote areas so guest should be aware of that before booking.
• All the travelers are requested to carry a copy of the medical certificate with them.
• We are not liable for any health problem or accidental issue or death issue of any guest. We will guide or help to arrange first aid only and inform guest relative’s (if contact detail is available with us) and guest relative will take care with direct payment basis. This route will cover very remote areas so guest should be aware of that before booking.
• We shall not be responsible for any cancellation of cabs or due to Bad weather, Snow Fall, Strike, Landslide, Army Movement, Terrorism or any other reason not mentioned early, we are not liable for it. Hotel Houseboat Hose can be changed in any emergency situation for your convenience, no refund in any case and extra charge on direct payment basis if applied.
• Participants are requested to follow the timing in the program, in case any service is missed due to delay in departure, we will not be responsible for any settlement.
• In any event of train cancellation or rescheduling, we will not be responsible for any claims of refund or settlement for the same.
• Tourism on the entire Jammu & Kashmir Circuit from Jammu to Srinagar t0 Gulmarg to Sonamarg to Pahelgam to Jammu is completely dependent on Inner Line Permits issued by J&K Police and Indian Armed Forces. Discretion of issuing permits solely depend on these authorities. We can’t guarantee the trip if permission is not granted due to military operations, snowfall, natural calamities, close day, terrorism, any other emergency situation or insufficient documentation by guests.
• Each guest must carry personal Medicines.
• In case of extension of stay / tour is required, then the guest can directly contact with Himalayan Destination.
• All transportation will be shared with point to point basis unless a private vehicle is specifically chosen at the time of booking.
• You have to report on Howrah Railway Station Day – 1 at 10:00 PM. Timing may change as per train availibity for smooth operation.
• Any case extra transport shall have to be arranged by the customers on their own, on direct payment basis.
• Seating arrangement must change on regularly by self interest to avoid any unwanted issues. Travel gentle & enjoy the nature.
• Room heaters if required can be provided on chargeable basis, subject to availability and completely depend on hotel / houseboat policy.
• If any solo traveler join in this group he / she has to share room with other co-traveler / Tour Manager. If we can not able to find other solo traveler then he / she will have to pay additional room cost for self, as he / she will avail a separate room.
• In what so ever any reason we have the full right to reschedule the tour, change date without any prior notice.
• We have to full right to change itinerary for smooth operation.
• Up and Down train journey is already fixed, if we will not able to visit some sight due to any emergency / unavoidable reason, we can not make additional night stay or extend the tour. Any individual guest may do the same with additional payment on spot.
• Guest may upgrade train tickets category / room category / transportation category with additional payment.
• Guest may make there own arrangement to reach Jammu or return from Jammu and then 1500/- per head will be adjusted.
• Please note that train ticket is fully depends on availability. We are not liable for any wait list ticket.
• Alcohol & Tobacco consumption or carrying is strictly prohibited in entire journey, consumption or carrying at your own risk.
• Respect the local people & there culture. Clean environment may expected from you & your group.

GUEST HEALTH AND FITNESS REQUIREMENTS:

To ensure that all participants get the most out of the Kashmir Tour, it is important that you are fully aware of the level of activity, fitness and medical health required to successfully complete this itinerary. Please read this dossier carefully prior to confirming your place on the tour and, having established the facts, it is your responsibility to contact us with any concerns regarding individual levels of fitness, health, or ability. If you would like to discuss any of these issues further please contact us.

NOTE: Acute mountain sickness can occur to any one at an altitude above 10,000 ft. from the sea level. The most common symptoms of acute mountain sickness are headache disturb sleep loss of appetite, nausea, coughing, irregular breathing, breathlessness, lassitude and lack of concentration. Since the average altitude of night stay is around 9,500 ft. above sea level. It is advisable to take the following precautions, so as to acclimatize your body properly.

• Take complete rest on the first day of Jammu. However, this period may vary with different people.
• Your body should get used to the lower oxygen levels.
• In case you develop any of the above-mentioned symptoms, please consult a Doctor.
• Rescue and precaution for mountaineering and trekking in Kashmir.
• Tourist undertaking mountaineering and trekking in Kashmir, whether in groups or individual, should take some precautions. There is no private aerial rescue agency in Kashmir and only as a life saving measure; engaging the Indian Air Force help in evacuation.

THINGS TO REMEMBER:

DO’s in Kashmir Tour

• Always carry drinking water and dry food.
• Carry Disprin / Avomin with you and take as required or already advised by your physician.
• If you are not able to go further from a particular spot in day, do not move stay there, as road condition is very bad in some places and it would be very difficult to travel in night.
• Temperature in Kashmir is too low and if you will throw any biodegradable item, it will remain in the same state for very long time, especially in snow, people defecate and the shit remains in the same form for years, so please try the Kashmiri winter toilets.
• Use vehicles, which have good-ground clearance and are in good condition. SUVs like Tata Sumo Grande, Toyota Qualis and Highlander, Mitsubishi Pajero work best over there.
• Make a first-aid box and carry proper medicines for headache, fever, and vomiting also in it.
• There is electricity problem in Kashmir, so it is better to take extra batteries for digital products like camera, mobiles phones, etc. Charge them fully before leaving for the tour. You may not get electricity at some remote places and also because of the cold, the battery gets discharged soon.
• People there are very friendly and hospitable. Respect them.

DON’T’s

• If you reach Leh by air, stay that day and do not plan to go anywhere for that day, as you will need a day or two to acclimatize yourself. Drink plenty of fluids with ORS mixture (that does not include alcohol), do not move much for the first two to three days.
• Don’t use Polythene bags. Ladakh is a “no polythene” zone. Kindly respect this and please carry back all the plastic you take with you.
• Refill your water bottles instead of buying new ones. Mountain water is good. If you have doubt, boil it and refill.
• Wear nice clothes covering your body while on roads, especially while visiting a religious place / garden.

CLIMATE

Kashmir lies on the Norther most part of India and located a very special geographical elevation with the great Himalayan range. Climate is very typical and very unpredictable. But below are the general prediction of Kashmir weather –

• Wide diurnal and seasonal fluctuations in temperature with -40°C in Winter and + 35°C in Summer.
• Precipitation is very low with annual precipitation of 10cm mainly inform of snow.
• Air is very dry and relative humidity range from 6-24%

WHAT TO PACK

You will encounter a range of temperatures so taking layers allows you to minimize your luggage but cover up if the temperature drops. Women may prefer to cover their shoulders and knees to avoid unwanted attention, and both men and women will need to cover their legs while in temples and monasteries.

        CHILD POLICY:

• • • • Child age below 5 years will be charged 2000/-. No extra seats will provide in Train / car, no additional meal will be provided, parents have to adjust with his / her own plate and no additional bed will be provided & adjust with parent’s bed.
      • Child age below 5 years will be charged 3500/- (those who want train ticket). No extra seat will be provided at car, no additional meal will be provided, parents have to adjust with his / her own plate and no additional bed will be provided & adjust with parent’s bed.
      • Child age between 5 to 9 years will charge 7000/-. Provide additional seat in train, additional meal only but no additional bed or seat at car will be provided.
      • Child age above 9 years considered as adult.

      Please remember in spite of the above policy, if any parents want to additional seat at car or additional bed or claim meal for child then the child will be considered as adult even age will below 5 years. We never suggest to avoid train tickets for child, if any parents want to do so, it is completely there responsibility.

      PAYMENT POLICY:

    • Initial booking has been accepted with token advance of per head of 5000/-.
    • Pay another 2000/- per head on or before 120 days from journey start date.
    • Pay another 5000/- per head on or before 30 days from journey start date.
    • Remaining on arrival at Jammu Railway Station / As per our instruction by cash only.

    You can pay full amount before journey started to avoid spot payment. We accept installment payment options also.

    BOOKING CONFIRMATION POLICY:

    • The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email / WhatsApp within 3 business day of successful booking.
    • Alternatively, the customer may cancel their booking before confirmation voucher generated and a full refund will be processed within 7 business day from the cancellation date.
    • All cancellation must be communicated through email or whatsapp only.
    • Final Booking confirmation voucher shall be generated after completion of payment 4000/- per head.

    5% additional charged will be applicable on failure of payment within specified date. If not agreed then the tour will automatically cancelled without any notice.

    CANCELLATION POLICY:

    • Cancel on or before 90 days from journey start date advance amount is non refundable.
    • Cancel between 75 to 89 days from journey start date 35% of total tour cost will be charged.
    • Cancel between 74 to 45 days from journey start date 50% of total tour cost will be charged.
    • Cancel between 44 to 30 days from journey start date 65% of total tour cost will be charged.
    • Cancel between 29 to 14 days from journey start date 75% of total tour cost will be charged.
    • Cancel on or before 13 days from journey start date 100% of total tour cost will be charged.

    You have to pay the cancellation fees in any cause of cancellation or no show.

    In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, customer personal issue or complete trip / certain trips or activities may get cancelled or affected, in such cases we will try our best to provide an alternate feasible. However, cash refund will not be applicable for the same. All alteration will be fully depending on hotel / houseboat / transporter policy.

    REFUND POLICY:

    • The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days from the tour completion.
    • Final refund amount will be calculated after all deduction of applicable charges.
