Itineraries
Day 1
Guwahati Rly Station to Shillong
Meet your representative at the Guwahati Railway Station / Airport & transfer to Shillong. On the way sight-seeing of Bada Pani Lake which fall aside of the high way of Assam and Megalaya. On arrival at Shillong, check in hotel. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 2
Shillong Local Sightseeing
After breakfast visit to Beadon Falls, Bishop’s Falls, Crinoline Falls, Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak, Spread Eagle Falls, Sweet Falls, Ward Lake, Lady Hydari Park & Zoo, Butterfly Museum. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 3
Living Rout Bridge & Mawlynnong Village & Dowki in East |Khasi Hills Cleanest Village Sightseeing
After breakfast proceed for a full day sightseeing for Living Rout Bridge & Mawlynnong (Mawlynnong is a village in the East Khasi Hills district of the Meghalaya state, India. It is famous for its cleanliness and natural attraction. Mawlynnong was awarded the prestigious tag of ‘Cleanest Village in Asia’ in 2003 by Discover India Magazine). After that proceed towards Dowki. Dawki-Tamabil is one of the few road border crossings between India and Bangladesh. It is used mainly for coal transportation to Bangladesh. Some 500 trucks cross the border every day in peak season. Dawki Bridge, is a suspension bridge over the Umngot river. It was constructed in 1932 by the British. Back to Shilong in the evening. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 4
Shilong to Cherrapunjee
After breakfast proceed for Cherrapunjee on the way visit to Noh- Kolikai Falls, Mawsami Cave, Khoh Ramhah, Don- Bosco Shrine. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.
Day 5
Cherrapunjee Sightseeing to Shilong
After breakfast proceed for half day Cherrapunjee sightseeing on the way visit to Dain-Thlen Falls, Tombs of Welsh Missionaries, Noh- Sngithiang Falls, Ramkrishna mission etc. Back to Shilong in the evening. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 6
Shilong to Guwahati
After breakfast check out from the hotel & transfer to Guwahati City. Evening visit Golden Sunset on Brahmaputra. Overnight stay at hotel in Guwahati.
Day 7
Guwahati Local Sightseeing
Early morning visit to Kamakhya Temple. After completion of puja take breakfast on the way and then visit Tirupati Balaji Temple , Nabagraha Temple, Pandu, Basistha Ashram, Bhubaneswar Temple etc. Overnight stay at hotel in Guwahati.
Day 8
Guwahati to Airport / Rail Station
After breakfast check out from the hotel & transfer to Guwahati Railway Station / Airport

Meghalaya in summer – From April till June
In summer, temperatures ranges from 15°C to 25°C. The place enjoys a pleasant weather and thus can be explored easily.
Meghalaya in Monsoon – From June till September
Meghalaya being the abode of clouds receives maximum rain. The rainiest places on Earth, Mawsynram and Cherrapunjee are here. The weather is at its mesmerizing best. The temperatures are never higher than 20°C in this season. The cascading waterfalls are in their full might.
Meghalaya in winter – From October till February
Winter is much colder here, with temperature ranging between 4°C and 16°. There is dense fog on the mountains and roads. The weather is absolutely amazing to plan vacations.
